Granite & Marble Sealing

If left unprotected, granite and marble surfaces can deteriorate very quickly and start to look unsightly. They are particularly prone to staining from water, oils and grease as they will slowly penetrate any unprotected marble or granite surface.

We have developed a high quality granite and marble sealer that is specially formulated to repel any unwanted spills without darkening or changing the natural colouring of your marble or granite. This will keep your marble and granite surfaces fully protected and looking great at all times.

Our marble and granite sealers provide high performance protection against most types of stains. These advanced formulations provide very powerful wear resistance and enhanced durability. They are great for use on granite and marble worktops, sills and floors (internal and external). Our granite and marble sealers can also be used on other natural stone surfaces such as sandstone, limestone, slate, terrazzo, travertine as well as grout.

Most granite or marble is factory sealed to protect against stains. The sealer will block the small natural pores in the granite or marble creating a protective barrier that will stop any liquids penetrating the surface enabling them to be wiped off easily. 

Once you have sealed your granite or marble worktop try not to use any ordinary household cleaners that could damage the surface. Many household cleaners contain harmful chemicals such as ammonia that can break down the protective sealer over time making it more vulnerable to staining. Other damaging materials are things like perfume, toothpaste, and toiletries that will degrade the sealer if left for long periods.

To keep your granite and marble surfaces looking great at all times it is best to use an ammonia free polish or cleaner which will not break down the protective sealer.
